  1. Freeze Dates is a "droplet" for use with UserLand's Frontier. A droplet is a
  2. hybrid, half application and half script.
  3.  
  4. What does it do?
  5. ----------------
  6.  
  7. Freeze Dates provides a quick and easy way to "freeze" the modification and/or
  8. creation dates of groups of files (folders too.)
  9.  
  10. The process of putting finishing touches to a software product is often called
  11. "Freezing the Master Disk" -- harmonizing the creation and modification dates of
  12. all files on a distribution disk is a very important part of the "freezing"
  13. process -- and that is exactly what Freeze Dates does.
  14.  
  15. When one or more files and/or folders are dropped onto Freeze Dates, each file,
  16. folder and folder's content modification and/or creation dates are modified
  17. according to your specifications.

  19. How to Use
  20. ----------

  22.     1. Select the files (or folders) in the Finder.
  23.  
  24.     2. Drag them onto the Freeze Dates droplet icon and release the mouse.
  25.  
  26.     3. When the droplet dialog appears, set the files modification and/or
  27.        creation date as you please.
  28.  
  29.     4. When done, click "OK" to apply the changes or "Cancel" to leave the
  30.        files unchanged.
